Geocache Description:

A little known cabin built by infamous writer Herman Chase.

Parking for the cache is located at.. 43 35.620 071 35.702

The cabin was built by Herman Chase, the contraversial author of many groundbreaking books on the human anatomy during the early 60's. As of late, it is cared for by Craig Seufert, a local and good friend of the family and is dedicated to the late Stephen Seufert.

Throughout my childhood, many trips were made to Herman Chases cabin. What's changed, is that the trail that was there during my childhood is no longer there (Rather very faint, and hard to follow unless you know the way) so the challenge of this cache is finding a route up or following one of the many makeshift paths. Please respect the cabin and make sure to cache in and trash out as the cache is a rare treasure, little known by even the locals.

The cache is a small camoed container which has room for travel-bugs and geocoins. There is a Tempting the Fates geocoin and stickers for the FTF!

Special thanks to Jsamps for toughing it out and helping me with the coordinates. Also, don't forget to sign the log inside the cabin!

Note: Please, be sure to check out the view before you leave!
