This is event 5 in the 5 special celebrations for nessker’s 40-30-5 (40th birthday-30 years fighting cancer-5 years geocaching). Attendees will receive a special treat for coming the day of the event. Attend all 5 events and you will receive an additional special prize. I hope you have had a chance to make it to a few if not all of the special events this summer. I felt the final one should celebrate the fact this is my 5th anniversary of geocaching and the month that I was diagnosed with cancer 30 years ago.
I have a rare genetic disorder called Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), which makes all forms of UV light dangerous to me. My skin improperly repairs damage caused by UV light sources (everything from the sun to standard fluorescent light bulbs).
