Geocache Description:

This micro cache is placed in the city park of Higginson, Arkansas with full support of the mayor and the police department. It should be a fairly easy find with plenty of parking close to the hiding spot. You won't have to worry about poison ivy here(That should be a clue as where to look). The park closes at dark, so please do not hunt this one after sunset.

Daniel Phillip Longstreet, police officer #A5B3 for the small community of Higginson, Arkansas, was shot and killed in his patrol car as he set watching traffic early on the morning of March 14, 19CD. The coordinates above will take you to a small city park where you will find a plaque memorializing this hero and containing the Bible passage from John 11:EF-GH. You will need to obtain information from the plaque in order to project a waypoint to the final cache.

The final cache is ACBft. from this plaque on a magnetic bearing of GCH° and contains only a log, so be sure to bring a writing instrument with you.

I hope you enjoy this nice park and will take the time to remember all those brave men and women who place their lives on the line everyday to protect and to serve.

If you find this cache in need of attention, please note it in your online log or email me through my profile link. Above all, be safe, have fun, and happy caching.
