Geocache Description:

The area for maccamob's fifty-third cache reflects an early part of Adelaide's history and has some amazing monuments to those pioneers who endured much. Family ties brought people to South Australia then and now, and some famous families are represented here if you explore. Take time to look at the architecture and trees. At the gate is a notice with details you may need later.

Some SA cachers have met Alison (Smurf), Joanna (JoMac, now GeoJo) and Mary & David (maccamob, who have found a new calling thanks to A and J). Now come with us and meet a lady who was born in Scotland, married and then lived in South Africa. Her husband died there and she later came with her family to Adelaide.

Elizabeth is Mary's Great-Great Grandmother and Great-Great-Great Grandmother to Alison and Jo. There are several other members of the family here too.

At the posted coordinates, find the doctor who fell asleep. (He is not a family member, but just admire the elaborate stonework.)
On what day of the month did he fall asleep? Day = ab
And in what year? Year = cdef
How old was he then? Age = gh

From the sign near the rear entrance gate,
In what year was this facility established? Year = jklm
What rule refers to dogs? Rule number = n
What rule covers the Register? Rule number = p

Now find the cache at S 34 53.mbn, E 138 36.gpf
As usual, be aware of possible observation. Please take time to ensure the cache cannot be seen, by replacing all its camouflage exactly as before and in exactly the same place, to look as natural as possible before you leave.
