Great place to get ice cream
* Cache moved from original location due to landscape clearing over at Holman Ford/Lincon. The gods of Geocaching must have been smiling on me because the new construction and the reason for the clearing, provided a "ready made" hiding spot.
** My mistake, the gods of Geocaching were apparently laughing at me. The new location put me too close to another cache requiring a move to a new location. The new GZ is not as cool but at least now I'm in compliance.
Please be careful retrieving and replacing this cache. Re-hide as found.
This parking lot was the site of Matlack's Dairy Bar, a fixture in the Maple Shade area back in the days when most of South Jersey was farmland and RT38, RT73 and Kings Highway came together in a traffic circle (Yikes!). It was a great place to get some good old fashion comfort food and some of the best ice cream around.
In honor of that ice cream the FTF gets a $5 gift certificate to White Dotte Dairy Bar in Southamton - Enjoy!
