How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

Just find at least one cache every day. Rain, sleet or sun. Big or little. Climb a tree, lift a lampskirt, or just attend an event. At least one every day. Keep it up for 100 consecutive days. That's the challenge.

The cache is at the posted coordinates but you must follow the requirements below in order to log it! Please read the entire cache description.

This cache is placed in honor of the hider reaching 800 consecutive days of cache-a-day cache finding.

The Requirements:

  1. Find or have found a cache every day for 100 consecutive days. Log these caches to geocaching.com.
  2. When logging this cache, include the start and end dates of your streak of continuous caching in your log. The continuous sequence of finds must cover every day, and must include at least 100 days. Of course you may find more than one cache per day... but you must find one each and every day.
  3. Caches hidden by yourself will not be counted.
  4. This cache is placed in Illinois. At least 10 caches in your streak of cache finds must be located in Illinois. If you're not from here, you have to find some caches near here to qualify for the challenge.
  5. The streak may have ended before you log this challenge cache... but it's better if it is ongoing.
  6. Logs to this cache without the required data will be deleted. Logs by cachers who have not found the required caches will be deleted. The hider of this cache reserves the right to make judgements of an arbitrary nature, if the rules are being stretched or quibbled about. Notes and other statements of interest or qualification might be interesting reading, but they will probably be deleted. If you meet the requirements, you must find the cache and log it as Found, with the proper data in your log and in your caching history.
  7. There is no requirement to be a Premium Member to log this cache.

The cache difficulty reflects the challenge... the hide itself is straightforward and fairly simple.

You don't have to stop finding a cache every day after meeting the requirements of this challenge cache. Keep up the good work!
