This cache has been archived.

offline.cacher: The general rule reviewers use to archive a cache is that the cache owner has been notified (through a log entry) by the reviewer and that no response has been forthcoming in 30 days. This is the case with this cache. As a result it has been archived.
If the owner would like to discuss this issue, please contact me through my geocaching.com profile. Include the GC code for the cache.

Geocache Description:

NOTE: THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED COORDINATES!!!

The Nestene Consciousness has failed in their attempted invasion of earth. However, there still exists on the the planet a translucent plastic polyhedron, one of their dangerous power units. It was once housed at the National Space Museum, well disguised as a small cylindrical tube. However, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart has recieved word at UNIT headquarters that the device has been stolen by the Master and has sent Jo and the Doctor to investigate.

Unfortunately, there has been no word back from the Timelord and his companion. Greatly alarmed, the Brigadier sent a team to the last known location of the TARDIS. Instead of locating it, they found an ordinary police box in its place. A thorough search reveled only the following hastily scribbled message:

HMGVRJJKXDDYNCH

The Doctor and Jo are in trouble. That means the Earth is in trouble. It is up to you to solve this first in a series of puzzles to save mankind. Beware the Master in your travels. He is devious, evil, and often caches people unawares.

The cache container is a micro and an easy find once you have the coordinates. This is the first in a series of five puzzle caches. Finding the fifth cache will require finding and recording the information contained in the first four. Don't forget to record them for future missions!
