A walk in the woods, across the stream (now made somewhat challenging by continuing beaver activity) will get you to this cache. Not particularly difficult if you are used to walking in the woods.**
This cache was actually placed in the spring of 2004, but for various reasons wasn't posted until the following year. The coordinates were written into the Patriot's Rest log book, but I guess no one read the log and tried to find this cache.
The cache is a standard ammo can. Review log entries for current contents.
**[6/19/08] When I originally "found" this location, only an easy stream crossing was required. But the beavers have been busy over the past couple of years. It will now take some effort to get across or around what used to be a nice little stream. Expect to get a little wet or muddy. Other than that the terrain is not hard, maybe a 3, but I've increased the terrain rating (again) to compensate for the beaver pod.
