The original choice was for a re-creation of the Monticello Box Box
cache. He felt the area was well worth a cache and he was sorry to
see it archived. The downside was that it was in an isolated area
and the original had only been found 3 times, attempted by a couple
more and largely ignored. He reconsidered and chose to have his
cache placed in the same area as Enabler's. The other part of the
request was that the cache not be a micro. He did not ask for high
difficulty but an ammo can under a bush would have been a travesty
for the state's top cacher. 7/14/08. The original first stage
"container" is gone and figuring a way to secure a replacement
would make it too high maintenance. It has been replaced with an
easy on-site puzzle and the difficulty has been reduced.
The cache is a 2 stage multi. The first stage coordinates bring
you to the wildlife viewing shelter. Take a peek at the pond while
you are there. At the time of placement, the bullfrogs were quite
vocal. At the first stage, you will need to do some reading to get
the coordinates for the second stage. No magnets or velcro were
sacrificed for this cache.
The coordinates for the second stage are:
N 35 09.AB0
W 106 28.CDE
A=number of letters in the last word of the 2nd sentence.
B=6
C=6th word in the first sentence.
D=6th word in the second sentence.
E=last word on the plaque.
The cache is located in the Elena Gallegos Picnic Area
