Geocache Description:


A 3.7 mile paved trail encircles Rice Lake in the city of Maple Grove. You can park and access the trail at a Park & Ride lot. Take the Weaver Lake Rd. exit from I-94 and head east. Turn left at Elm Creek Blvd, and take the first left (on Maple Knoll). The Park & Ride lot is at the western end of Maple Knoll, off of the cul-de-sac.

Enjoy the scenery as you begin your hike along the lakeshore. More ambitious cache hunters can walk counter-clockwise around the lake, but clockwise is shortest to the cache.

The cache is a translucent plastic box. Initial contents are:

  • Simba action figure
  • Tarzan action figure
  • Popper
  • Yellow Heart
  • Minesweeper
  • Chuck E. Cheese token
  • Golf Ball
