Welcome to Washington Rock. This is the northern stop of the Central Jersey Cache Hunt nestled between RT. 22 and RT. 78. I wonder if it's possible to see the other four caches in the Central Jersey Cache Hunt from here. During the American Revolution, George Washington used this vantage point to monitor the movements of troops across the Central Jersey landscape.
When you find this cache, be sure to copy down the partial set of coordinates that will help you find the Central Jersey Cache Hunt. You'll need to find the other three caches on the borders of Central Jersey to find The Central Jersey Cache Hunt (GCP88G).
The other caches you'll be seeking are:
Each of these caches were placed to show off some of the odd and interesting places in Central Jersey. Also, the manner in which each cache is hidden is in some way inspired (or directly ripped off) of another Central Jersey cache. Thus, you may find this hide very easy (been there, done that), or you may find yourself pulling your hair out.
This was also the sight of a Virtual cache. We've revamped that cache with one of the new Geocaching Challenges. Feel free to log that one too while you are here.
As with all of my caches, there is no need to kick things over, rip up the environment, trespass, or do anything dumb or illegal. Please leave the environment intact when you are done, and if possible, please CITO.
Have fun, and thanks for caching with me!
