Geocache Description:

KEEP IN MIND that the park gate closes at sundown. The rangers WILL lock the gate!

The park has a baseball diamond, playground equipment, a para-course, pay phone, and restrooms.

This hike takes you to a pair of the dozens of peaks in this part of San Diego County. From the top you can see all the way to the ocean on a clear day and there are lots of clear days here in San Diego.

When this cache was placed, there were no houses to the Southwest, that has changed but it is still worth the visit. Bring a lunch and enjoy the views!

The hike is about one mile one way. The 3.5 rating is because the last 300 yards is about a 250 foot gain in elevation no matter which way you hike from. There is no bushwacking necessary to get to the cache.

REMEMBER THAR BE SNAKES!!!
