The Moore Stash Cache Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of The Moore Stash Cache to find out about the status of this cache on June 30, 2009. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This is a multi cache. I have put two stakes in the ground. On the first one are the coordinates to the next. On the second stake are the coordinates to the final cache.

The cache is in a camo painted 12 qt plastic container.
The original contents are as follows:
  • Logbook to log your adventure
  • Dog biscuits large and small
  • Wintergreen lifesavers
  • Bass fishing game
  • Flashlight
  • Velamints Chocolate mints
This site has nice hiking trails. In the spring the rhododendrons, azaleas and mountain laurel cascade down hills, line wooden paths and decorate waterfalls. You will find stone mill foundations, a restored sawmill, and a covered bridge called "Enchanta". "Take your time, take a break, sit by Enchanta and enjoy the lake!" The grist and sawmills worked here from 1747 through the early part of the 19th century. Lots of people bring their dogs here to walk them. Penny likes to go here too. Her favorite spots are the rivers as you can see by the pics. Hope you have fun. The coordinates to the parking area are: N 42°18.621 W 071°57.304
The coordinates to the first stake are: N 42°18.765 W 071°57.477
