Who "Fort"ed??? Traditional Geocache
Seay me: It appears that the cache has been looted. My intent for the cache was to be an easy one to find for family cachers, hence the close proximity to the trail.

Cache is located at the "Fort Des Moines County Park". You could probably park at other locations but we parked at N41°30.950' W093°36.736'.
We used ClayJar's difficulty calculator, but this cache seems a little easier than the calculator recommends. The trial is pretty easy up to the cache...the last few feet however is a little cumbersome.
The cache is a 3qt. clear rubbermaid container with a blue rim around the lid. Original cache contents are: Battery powered personal fan (no batteries), hacky sack, emergency poncho, bug repelant (please leave in cache so those who may need it can use it), blank CD-RW, 2-13 gallon trashbags just incase you feel the urge to "cache in, trash out", small pocket knife, logbook, pencil, etc..etc...
