The wide, flat, well packed trail runs along the Missouri River with hills containing outcrops of rocks and trees.
This regular-sized cache was placed along the Lewis and Clark Trail as an incentive to visit locations where they traveled. Along this established trail are places to stop and observe the scenery, the river, and the wildlife of the hills in Southeastern Nebraska.
Look for more L&C geocaches in the string of geocaches along the Missouri River of Nebraska and Iowa. This cache was placed with permission of the land owner.
Update 11-10-2012: Original cache owner, The Three Amigos, can no longer care for the cache. Ownership was transferred to GeoJudt to keep it going for years to come.
