We have met several of the cachers from the area while spending our summer in Bandon. Duck inquired if anyone was going to host an event in the area. The cachers in the Rogue valley, where we normally reside, try to host an event each month. We enjoyed going to those and meeting others who also enjoy geocaching. We were told that people had mentioned having an event but, it never seemed to happen. After waiting several months, Duck decided to host the event.
This is a perfect chance to meet with others and share information and stories about geocaching. Wouldnt you like to put some faces with the names of those who seek your caches.
We set the event for Sunday, August 21st at 1:00 pm. There is lots of room and anyone who is involved in caching or has a desire to learn more about the game is welcome. Everyone will be responsible for their own meals and drinks, Hey we are retired and on a fixed income. Who knows, we may even entice some other cachers out of the heat to enjoy this area. There are plenty of caches to be found. Anyone interested can bring travel bugs to trade.
So, come to Coos Bay and "Duck" on in for good food and some new friends.
