This micro-cache is easily accessible and is wheelchair friendly. It is located in a busy area of Pisa so please be discreet. Replace the cache exactly how you found it so we can keep this cache alive!

After you've climbed the Tower, visited the Duomo, had a pizza and found the other Pisa caches come to this interesting area for our cache.

It is close to the Piazza dei Cavalieri so do have a look at this famous square. Here you will find the Palazzo dei Cavalieri which was built in 1562 by Giorgio Vasari as headquarters of the Knights of St Stephan. The large building is decorated with Medici busts and with black and white "graffito" that was scratched into wet plaster. Napoleon founded the Scuola Normale Superiore, the University of Literature, Philosophy, Mathematics and Science that is still here.

Alongside the palace is the church San Stefano dei Cavalieri. Built for the Knights of St Stephan order, it was also designed by Giorgio Vasari and completed in 1569. The facade was built by Giovanni de' Medici and completed in 1606.

After admiring the piazza, it's time to find the cache. It is a very small breath strip container painted black measuring 2"x1"X1/2" It contains only a logsheet, so bring a pen with you.

Good Luck!

Note The cache was originally put in place by Jessex; after two years, he decided to leave its administration to SamPisa, that maintained the cache on his behalf. Thanks to Jessex for the cache.
