The cache is not at the final coordinates that you will come up with. I wasn't even going to try to do that math. This one and the original cache have been cursed. The old final seems to get muggled a lot so I moved this one to a more reliable location. The terrain for the final is a lot easier but I am not going to change it since people may have used it for challenges. In honor of the original cache and as a thanks to the original CO, here is the information taken from the original cache page, with a little modification at the end to get you to the new final:
This is a four-stage multi-cache that takes place mostly in Ada Cemetery, with the final stage nearby. It requires a fair amount of arithmetic with large numbers, so I would suggest bringing a calculator that can handle at least fifteen digits. Also, because it is a cemetery, there is no night-caching allowed.
At each stage except the final, you'll be presented with a gravestone. You will have to figure out the age of the person buried there at death, then perform these calculations:
- Start with the negative of the age.
- Multiply by 6,069,126,629.
- Add 967,732,535,756.
- Multiply by the age.
- Subtract 22,958,773,300,175.
- Divide by 1,980.
The result will be a ten-digit number: ABCDEFWXYZ. The coordinates of the next stage will be N 42 57.ABC W 85 30.DEF. To be sure you have the correct gravestone, WXYZ will be the year that the person was born. The birth year for the first stage is 1914.
On your last calculation, you will get only a six-digit number containing the coordinates to the original final. You are welcome to go there but will not find anything. In order to get the coordinates to the new final, add 34130 to the six digit number you got.
