Located about 2 miles up the Blue Trail from the Danielson Campground.

You will know you are there when you get to the only real swichback. The cache is about 35 feet off the trail in a bush.

Watch for snakes in the dry brush.

Happy hunting!

I only realized this was the switchback I was waiting for until after we'd passed it. Backtracked a bit, and then I followed the obvious geo-trail to the obvious end, but that was too far and I missed the cache. After looking around futilely for a few minutes, I retraced my steps and saw the cache just sitting and staring at me. Ah ha! Thanks for the find.

Out with VCT and ODC doing a nice 14.5 mile hike thru this gorgeous area. Thanks for the caches!

I think you were cheated - they're not really gold or silver because they're starting to rust!

Starting at Newbury Park, the Outdoorsclub.org hike took the Western Ridge Trail for a very brief stop at Boney Summit, then on to Tripeaks for some exploring and lunch. From there we took the Chamberlain, Old Boney and Blue Canyon Trails back to Sycamore canyon and then up to the cars. TFTC!
