GA's Largest Ammo Can - Resurrected Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

The Tick-Magnets: Really, really hate to see this one go.... but the property was sold off and now there are No Trespassing signs posted. We'd hate for someone to get in trouble when going after this!

But stay tuned.... work is already in progress to "resurrect" this one again!

Happy Caching!

Geocache Description:

In November 2007, geocacher shellbn4 placed a super-cool cache in Middle GA. This cache has been the talk of MANY local cachers as well as those that have traveled through the area. Land redevelopment issues have made it necessary to remove the beloved cache. In March of 2012, the cache was gifted to The Tick-Magnets in hope of having it resurrected in a new home. The Tick-Magnets are thrilled to be entrusted with this geocaching gem and are excited about keeping the tradition of the GA's Largest Ammo Can alive in Middle GA! ~ Clyde, Mac, and Swiz (a.k.a The Tick-Magnets)

You won't have to look very hard for this cache! If you read the title, you'll know why!

This cache is ideal for over-sized travel bugs, geo-photo ops, and a few giggles! Enjoy!

Parking is readily available near the cart building (far left as you enter the property).

Please be kind and DO NOT disturb the muggles wielding "woods" and "irons".

Permission for the cache placement has been granted by Tommy, the property owner. A special shout goes to Tommy for not only giving us the okay to place the cache, but for taking the time out of his busy day to walk us around his property and help us select a new home for the cache!

Due to the fact that cache had to be moved so far from its previous coordinates, we were unable to salvage the original GC code. The Resurrected cache is a separate code... therefore... you can find it and log it as a "new" cache! Every cloud has a silver lining!
