Come one, come all to the Puget Sound Chapter's "Get your Pi-th On Event!"
With all of the Pi events going on in the area, the Puget Sound Chapter of the WSGA did not want to miss out on the fun, so we are putting on our very own Pi event!
The number π is a mathematical constant, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, commonly approximated as 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter "π" since the mid-18th century, though it is also sometimes spelled out as "pi".
Enough with the math lesson. Heres the event info:
WHERE: Shari's Restaurant (Listed Coordinates. Where else would you go for pi?)
WHEN: Saturday March 14, 2015 @ 2:30pm - 4 PM
WHY: Its pi day, go have some pi and attend an event and get a account souvenir!
When logging your "will attend" log, please indicate the number in your party. The restaurant needs an approximate head count so that they can plan accordingly.
Come on out to Renton, gather with your geo buddies, trade trackables, have some pi and may be win a raffle item!
