Attention All Geocachers:
Mark your calendar for June 13, 2015 and come celebrate Cherokee Village's 60th Anniversary with a geocache event!
You are cordially invited to spend an enjoyable, fun and exciting day in Cherokee Village, Arkansas. Our event begins with a meet and greet at Celebration Central starting at 11:00 am until 5:30 pm, which allows free time to socialize or hunt area geocaches, if desired; then come back for a get-together from 5:30 pm till 6:30 pm to talk geocaching and socialize some more. Prizes will be awarded for the best geocaching story and prize drawings just for participation!
There will be fresh new geocaches that will be posted on the geocache.com site that week. We have planned a variety of geocaches that will hopefully be both fun and challenging. A mobile hot spot, food vendors, and restroom facilities will be available.
This will be to celebrate Cherokee Village's 60thth anniversary! There will be many other family-oriented events going on that everyone can participate in so there will be no time to be bored! Don't forget your camera, swimsuit, lawnchair, and sunscreen! Come for the whole celebration weekend or just for the day.
