Man kan inte låta bli att förundras över hur dessa höga, branta åsar, i en för övrigt ganska slät omgivande närhet, bildats!
Under 7-årskriget (1563-1570) använde danska trupper denna väg vid förflyttning. Betecknades som riksväg då.
