Geocache Description:

Many many moons ago 'Capt George' and his merry men were sailing the southern seas in search of treasure.

However on an dark and stormy night in 1873, they come unstuck when their ship, the 'S.S. Cargo', run aground off Mutton-bird Island. They were taking on water quicker than the crew could bail. Capt George gave the final orders, 'LOCK THE CAR GEORGE', and in no time the ship was on its way to a watery grave. The crew of 52 faired no better and were quickly made shark bait. Alas, Capt George and his first mate, William Ard, made it ashore, along with the Capt's private stash of gold bullion.

Rumour has it that before the two men perished they burried the stash in the nearby hills.... It's your job as would-be treasure hunters to find the hidden treasure, but remember the treasure should only be found by sneaky pirates as this place is teaming with other would-be pirates and we don't want to give the secret location away.

Happy hunting - me matey's
