Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to recognize GeologyGirl,Nctreker,Nittany Dave, and Wimseyguy finding their 1000th cache. Their Geocaching expertise gave them the ability to find over 1000 caches of varying diffucitity and terrain.

To commemorate find #1000 the Committee created a special cache for each of these Geocachers. Stages of each cache were created by MrPandHisGirls,WE4NCS, and myself. This cache is a combination for those 4 special caches.A few minor modifications have been made for those who dare to follow in the footsteps of greatness.

You are going to need the Right Stuff for this adventure. Of course this cache will be a multistage quest to acknowledge the Geocaching abilities of these 4 cachers. First a full tank of gas, and good road maps of all of North Carolina, a park directory for Wake County, a medium duty portable generator along with 500 feet of extension cord, drills, saws a night vision scope, a Gerber multi tool, a Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum (with extra ammo), a sledge hammer, a chain saw, a ladder, climbing belt and safety harness, hip waders, a long pole, a flashlight, a hard hat, safety glasses, work lights, bug spray, rope, gloves, a battery powered driil (with assorted bits), Duct tape, battery charger, a pair of FRS radios, the spouse, food, an Atomic clock, first aid kit, water purification kit, propane torch, Palm 515, a G drive, camera, tent, ammo, flack jacket, chisel, boots, hip waders, canoe paddle, mirror, protractor, one large rubber band, one small rubber band, 15 inches of twine, and a shovel. All you need is your GPS, and the ability to think outside the box. These are not your garden variety hides. Be sure your life insurance is up-to-date. Go to the doctor for your physical. Have all your shots up-to-date. Bring plenty of water. Be sure your tires are in good shape. Wear your best hiking boots. Bug spray is essential. Tecnu for cleaning poison ivy will be mandatory. Well, not really that bad, but you might want to bring plenty of water, a pair of tweezers, a medium flat tip screwdriver and a pair of needlenose pliers along with your normal Geocaching stuff! This cache will take time, you probably will have to made several attempts. If you feel like you are zig-zagging, you are! The 4 cachers crossed each others paths on their hunts. Some of their stages were exactly alike but in different location. Some stages were completly different. You will get a taste of all they did. Hints will be given if you make a valid attempt to find a stage.

All stages contain micros except the last stage. The ammo can at the last stage is well stocked, some goodies lovers of micros will like. The last stage will be the longest hike. It is about 2 1/2 miles round trip. If you attempt this leg of the cache during hunting season wear BLAZE ORANGE...please be safe out there!

May the GeoForce be with you....you WILL need it!
