A peaceful hideaway off of the Alpine Road Bike Trail.
San Francisquito Creek flows here well below you. This is a very peaceful area and, except for traffic noise, you would hardly know that you were so close to a busy highway. Saint Francis holds court here with the birds and furry animals (you might see a bunny hop by). Park off of Alpine Road at Piers Lane. Your GPS may point through some dense foliage but you can reach the cache via a clear path if you circle a bit. There is some poison oak in the area but staying on the path will keep you safe. The path is not well worn and is just visible due to the matted grass.
