This cache is located near a river gravel bar, and can be accessed from the greenbelt trail on the north side of the Eagle River. Water access going down river would be easy.
The greenbelt trail can be accessed from the trailhead at N61 17.946, W149 30.093.
Riverside Drive now posts "No Public Parking" signs. Park on the side of the road just before Riverside Drive, or park at Alpenglow Elementary School and walk down the sidewalk.
Once you get close to the cache it should be easy to locate.
We have replaced the ammo can (they are becoming increasingly difficult to locate) with a decon container.
