This is a traditional cache in the Stewarton area
Local history states that there used to be a number of small hamlets on the Old Glasgow Rd, which included Kingsford [which is still there] and Darlington which is no more. The junction which is near the cache has a few houses and small holdings which gives the sense as to where Darlington used to be.
There are now a few caches in the Stewarton area so build them in to a nice wee day!
The cache itself is a small camouflaged plastic box, big enough for swaps. There is a pen within. Very much a cache and dash. Over to you, and happy hunting!
