What color is the little brown jug? Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Crabhain: Upon further consideration, this cache has had problems since day 1. I ride my bike down the path regularly, and this seemed like it might be a fun place for people to visit if they weren't familiar with it. About half a dozen other caches along the path, to boot, so it would be worth a short walk to get the numbers. But between homeless muggles moving in, leaking containers and nasty plants, nobody seems to be having fun. So, what then, I ask myself, is the point of it?

Instead of putting even more energy into this cache, I will pick up my geolitter ASAP, and put my energy into a new cache somewhere else.

Thanks to all who searched for it, sorry that the experience wasn't all that I had hoped. I will endeavour to do better next time!

Geocache Description:

Small cache in a bit of an out of the way, but hopefully interesting spot.

Getting there will be the challenge if you are not already familiar with how to reach the cache. If you are not familiar, here is a chance to see something new. If you are familiar, it is a gimme.

Container is a smallish brown ceramic container, room for log, and at most 1 small item. Bring your own writing instrument. There is a FTF prize of a lapel pin in the container.

Some guidance-

* Do not approach from the freeway! This is the wrong approach. You may get a ticket (or arrested), and will get no sympathy from me.

* Nearest legal parking is about 4/10 mile away.

* The cache is on public property, and is accessible without any trespassing whatsoever.

* Do not let your GPSr tell you that it is on or near the freeway. Stay on the legal side of the fence.

* The path to the cache is open 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, unless there is a storm.

* I do not recommend going to the cache after dark, even though the path may be open. It is in a bit of a secluded spot, and we all know what type of activities occur after dark in secluded spots.

* There is no foliage involved in this, I didn’t hide it in the bushes/trees. Be careful approaching, however, as there are scratchy plants along the route.
