Hunt a cache at the same place Jesse James and his gang stole the cash!

In July, 1876 the James Gang robbed Missouri-Pacific train #4 at this location netting $20,000 in cash and valuables from the train and its passengers. It came to be one of the most famous train robberies in history.

Today, there is a nice little roadside park here. It is a great place to spend an afternoon. There are picnic tables and BBQ grilles here also.

Jesse and the boys really got around, didn't they? I spent a few moments looking down at the tracks and trying to visualize how it went down - I probably wouldn't have made a very good train robber4!
