Located in Skofield Preserve on Rte. 123 in Brunswick. Pets are not allowed in the preserve. The trail may be somewhat overgrown during the summer months. There are also LOTS of mosquitoes, so be prepared!
This multi-cache is located within the Skofield Preserve, which is maintained by the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust. The parking area is located at the following coordinates:
N 43 51.557 W 069 56.575
The first cache is a small Rubbermaid container with a white lid. It contains only the coordinates for the final cache, plus pencils and post-it notes for your use. The final cache is a 3-quart Rubbermaid container with a white lid. It is located about 40 feet from the main trail. Please follow the trails until you get close to the caches, and please replace the caches exactly as you find them. YOU DO NOT NEED TO CROSS THE MARSH TO GET TO THE CACHE!
The GPS coordinates tend to bounce around quite a bit, so you may have to search awhile. Because of the overgrowth, and the variable GPS coordinates, we have increased both the difficulty and the terrain ratings for this cache.
