We generally place caches near where we live, and since rkl has
been living here and will continue to be living here for awhile, he
asked that mbl and +1 set out a cache this morning to give
geovisitors something to find. You’ll find this cache in a
courtyard near the ramp to the door of the rehab unit at Johnson
Regional Medical Center.
You are looking for a matchsafe with special cammo that was a
gift from CacheMates, so be aware. You never know what you may find
when the mind of CacheMates creates it. Thank you, Jerry and
Bonnie.
You do not need to stray off the gravel path, but you do need to
bring a pen.
Message from +1:
Since Dad (rkl) will be here on R and R (recovery and rehab) for
about a month, and is probably bored between work-out sessions,
please consider at the very least, waving at the windows, or even
better—writing an interesting story of your “adventure” while
finding this cache. (Embellish or make-up something if necessary,
and don't forget to mention if you run into any cousins from
Snook!) But even better would be to continue up the ramp for a
visit. (Visiting hours are Mondays-Fridays, 5:00 – 9:00 PM, and
Saturdays-Sundays, 1:00-9:00.) By the way, one of the unit nurses,
Melissa, is a cacher, so you can also say hello to her. For more
details about the "history" of this cache, please read my note,
posted at the bottom of the log pages.
Also, be friendly to muggles. You might encounter fellow
patients, or as Dad calls them, “inmates." If Dad has had any
conversations with them, he has probably explained to them all
about geocaching, so they might even give you a hint, if you need
some direction.
6-12-2008 - rkl is now home and very glad to be there. But the
cache is still waiting to be found.
