Geocache Description:

Please note that access to the cache site is limited to Wednesday thru Sunday 9am to 4pm. Access is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The posted coordinates will lead you to the cache site which is along Lake Palourde.

This unique cache container is bigger than a micro, but smaller than an ammo can. Please log your visit, and take care to replace the cache as it was found to ensure fun for others as well . A pair of rubber boots may aid in searching for the cache. Mosquito repellent is also a good idea. Make sure and enjoy the beauty of the area and do some fishing too.

Lake Palourde is one of the many great fishing locations in the area. The term "Palourde" is a Native American word meaning shellfish.

In the cache, we've included some pan fishing supplies for trade. See the picture below for cache contents. Since this is a themed cache, we'd appreciate the trade of fishing related items that will fit in the container. A detailed list of the contents is as follows:
