This micro is located on Washburn County land near the Rosewood
Cemetery, northwest of Spooner,Wi. This cemetery has been recently
refurbished with a nice sign and information about the 14 graves.
The old country roads are not in any better driving condition than
I remember them in the 1970's when I came across this for the first
time. Until 2003, the last person buried here was in 1914. Notice
the ages, most of them were very young people. This cache is
located near prime Deer hunting land. I would not advise hunting
this Cache over the gun deer season. This area was totally destroyed
by fire in 1980 and now has a very thick growth of jack pine. Also,
keep an eye out for hornets near the cemetery sign. Cache contains
logbook and pencil. There is no need to disturb any monuments.
