PiMax19: Schade drum. Ehrlich gesagt haben wir keine Lust mehr, hier eine Wartung durchzuführen, auch wenn die neue Befestigungsmöglichkeit bereits fertig ist. Der Grund dafür ist der zunehmend sorglose Umgang mit Caches dieser Art.

Der Cache ist magnetisch und hält nur an einer dafür vorgesehenen Stelle (Schraube). Die Blechverkleidung gehört nicht dazu! Damit der Cache nicht verloren geht, ist es daher erforderlich, den Cache wieder exakt an die gleiche Stelle zu verstecken, wo er vorgefunden wurde.
The cache is equipped with a magnet and holds only on a well definied position (screw). The cover panel is not the right one! In order to prevent losing the cache, it is necessary to rehide the cache exactly on the same position, where the cache was found.

Dieser Cache führt euch zur Autobahnraststätte Mondsee auf die Panoramaplattform mit wundervollem Blick auf den Mondsee und den dahinter im Süden angrenzenden Bergen. Der Mondsee liegt im oberösterreichischen Salzkammergut und ist Nachbarsee des Attersees. Das Ufer im Südwesten bildet die Grenze sowohl zwischen den Bundesländern Oberösterreich und Salzburg, als auch zwischen den Kalkalpen im Süden und der Sandsteinzone. Weiters ragt am Südwestufer die markante Drachenwand empor (siehe Panoramabild und Earthcache GC1YRNJ). Der Mondsee ist ungefähr 11 Kilometer lang und weist eine maximale Breite von 1,5 Kilometer auf. Die maximale Tiefe beträgt 68 Meter. Für weitere Informationen siehe wikipedia.org.
This cache is located at the motorway service area and shows you a panorama platform, which provides a wonderful view to the lake Mondsee and to the close-by mountains in the south of the lake. The Mondsee is located in the Upper Austrian part of Salzkammergut near by the lake Attersee. The south west lakefront defines the boarderline between the states Upper Austria and Salzburg on the one hand and the boarderline between the limestone alps in the south and the sandstone zone on the other hand. Furthermore, on the south west lakefront you can see the striking Drachenwand (look at the panorama picture and the Earthcache GC1YRNJ). The lake Mondsee measures approximately 11 kilometres long ways and offers a maximum width of 1,5 kilometres. The maximum depth amounts 68 metres. For more informations look at wikipedia.org.
Infos zum Cache / Cache information
Der Cache ist an einem schneesicheren Ort versteckt und somit auch im Winter erreichbar. Er beinhaltet sowohl ein Logbuch mit Cache-Hinweis als auch einen Bleistift mit Spitzer (bitte nicht entfernen!). An der Cachelocation muss immer mit Muggels gerechnet werden, deshalb seid bitte extrem vorsichtig bei der Bergung und beim Wiederverstecken. Viel Spass beim Suchen und Genießen der Aussicht!

The cache is also available in winter. It contains a log-book, a stash-note, a pencil and a sharpener (please do not remove). At all times you have to deal with some muggels near the cache location. Please be extremely careful retrieving and rehiding the cache. Happy hunting and enjoy the nice view to the full!
