Tube-a-Bugs Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

-Tiki-: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This tube of bugs was started for kids that I taught geocaching to during an AEA 267 summer enrichment program in June, 2006. Flood water level check.

BEWARE OF NETTLES!

Not far from a paved bike trail. MAKE SURE TO PUT IT BACK WITH THE HINGE STRAIGHT; ALSO SCREW THE TOP CAP BACK INTO PLACE. The CACHE ITSELF SHOULD NOT BE VISIBLE.

The best way to approach it is to begin at the nearby “narrow bridge” sign then walk 27 paces SSE along the bike trail; from there scurry down into the woods where the embankment is not all that steep.

This is NOT a cache for anyone wearing shorts! Wood nettle is the name of the game between May and November.
