Gator TB Hotel and Gift Shop Traditional Geocache
SilverFox & FoxyLady: We are sad to inform the Geocaching community that we are archiving our Gator TB Hotel and Gift Shop. We sold our home in Gainesville and moved 180 miles south to our new home in Bradenton. The good news is that we have a new Geocache in Bradenton just as good as the Gator TB Hotel and Gift Shop. It is called Foxes and Dogs Travel Bug Hotel and Gift Shop (GC5XM25). All the Travel Bugs and trade items in the Gator Hotel will be moved to the Foxes and Dogs Hotel. Bradenton is a Geocache friendly town with hundreds of caches to discover. Come on south and enjoy the beaches and have a great time Geocaching.

Gator Travel Bug Hotel and Gift Shop is in a very unique hiding place and is Garmin "Chirp" enabled. The Hotel stays locked because of muggle traffic. Use the nearest street sign to obtain the combination to the hotel lock. Use the street number for the first two numbers and the avenue number for the last two numbers of the combination. You must use 4 numbers, in the right order or the lock will not open. Move the shackle up and down to open.
The Gator Hotel and Gift Shop provides a dry safe place for Travel Bugs to spend a few nights while on their journey to meet new geocachers all over the world. Inside the hotel is a gift shop that provides an opportunity for geocachers to do a little trading too.
The Hotel is constructed about 4 feet above the ground overlooking a portion of the San Felasco Hammock State Preserve and is a spacious 6”X18”X8” in size. The cache is not on Preserve property.
There is room for about 20 Travel Bugs and plenty of room for trade items in the gift shop. If your Travel Bug does not have a Bug Sheet, please print one and send it along with the TB. Bug sheets help geocachers decide on whether or not to pickup a TB or leave it. Most geocachers want to help the TB owners meet the goals of their Travel Bugs.
Please lock up the cache after trading TBs and gifts. Just turn the number dials to numbers other than the ones that open it and close the lock. Enable "Chirp" on your Garmin compatible GPS and it will give you more hints and the combination to the lock.
