A cache on VanZandt Pier in
Newport.
This is my third "Pier Pressure" cache. It' not as difficult as
Pier Pressure , or as well camo'ed as
Pier Pressure II ...just a plain ol' micro. Please be sure to
bring your own pen or pencil.
There is a nice view of the Newport Bridge (I refuse to call it
the Pell Bridge), Rose Island, and Goat Island.
This can be a high muggle area, especially fishing muggles, so
please engage uber-stealth mode when searching. Have a seat after
making the find and sign the log.
You cannot park at the end of the pier or south for a few hundred
feet. If you come in on Van Zandt, go one block north and then head
to the water, and you can park just north of the pier. Or you can
park further south on Washington. Parking may will be
difficult come summer.
