This is the old Wanderer's Peak Cache that I have now relocated
along the Clackamas River along old Hwy 224.
This is a great place to bring your bike or walk to this cache. You
will be walking/riding the old Hwy 224 before they built the bypass
that now travels over the hill to the East. Parking is available at
two locations: At the North end of Faraday Lake at N45* 15.972
W122* 18.387 (approximately a 1.75 mile walk/ride one way) or at
the South end on the shores of North Fork Lake at N45* 14.407 W122*
15.556 (approximately a 2.25 mile walk/ride one way). Don't let the
distances fool you, the terrian is extremely flat and it is paved
the whole way. The road is closed to motor vehicle traffic, but you
may on occasion see a PGE truck driving the road as they have a
couple of dams along the river and access them along this road.
