Geocache Description:

The above co-ordinates are for the car park at Trevor Basin.

To complete this cache you must first undertake Josie’s Cache which is close by. Inside the back cover of the Log book in Josie’s Cache you will find the 3 missing co-ords for the first stage of this cache.

The Cache is divided up into 4 stages, at each stage of the cache you will need to collect a series of 3 figure numbers. Take a note of these numbers as you progress though each stage. Once you have all the required numbers a simple piece of arithmetic will give you the final missing co-ords for the cache location.

Stage 1 is a Micro Cache where you will find part co-ords for the next part of the cache plus you first set of numbers, whilst stages 2 3 and 4 are visual Caches where at each location you need to collect a further series of 3 figure numbers.

Good Luck & Happy Caching……..

Stage 1 - N52 58.216 W003 05.??? – Once you have the missing co-ords from Josie’s Cache follow your GPS to find the next set of Co-ords needed plus the first set of numbers.
CLUE – To the Right of the grid, behind wall under rocks….

Stage 2 – N 52’ 58.361 W00?’ ??.???
You are looking for a sign, you will need to record the first THREE numbers on the bottom left of the sign.

Stage 3 - N52’ 58.295 W003’ 05.245
Here you will find a plaque commemorating the opening of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct which was built by Thomas Telford. You need to find the height of the Aqueduct, this information can by found on the plaque. Take a note of the 3 figures needed.

Stage 4 - N52’ 57.856 W003’ 05.167
You need to be brave to reach this point as you have to cross the Aqueduct, well worth it for the views.
You are looking for another piece of engineering; on the side of this you will find a date cast into the structure.
Take the first three numbers of the date.

You should now have 4 sets of numbers. Add these numbers together. From the total of the sum you will then need to subtract 41, this will give you the final co-ords for the cache location.

The Cache is a small Tupperware type container, small swaps and TB’s only
