The Cache is located right near the parking area at the Angstadt Trailhead of the Thun. This is no "easy" C&D. you need to wear jeans, and some good boots. THE GREAT GONZO is in a pine tree, and yes climbing is required. Ever since I was a little girl "hmm, wait ... I'm still 'little'" but anyways, I have always loved climbing trees. Whenever my parents or my friends could not find me, I would be high up in a tree snickering at them from above, then BOOM!! I would scare the crap out of them as I swung my way down. The title of this Cache came to mind in regards to one my most favorite outdoorsman/ musician of all time, Ted Nugent. He (much like myself) is one crazy sonofagun! No worries about the pine needles, I picked a softy. You will however want to bring some hand sanitizer because that sap sticks to you like glue. There is high muggle activity at times, so you may want to stay out of sight until they pass. Use your wits about this, exercise caution, and as always Happy Caching!!
