Two stage cache at Rick Evans/Grandview Prairie Conservation Education Center.
Located just a few miles northwest of Hope, Arkansas, the Rick Evans Grandview Prairie Conservation Education Center and Wildlife Management Area provides a perfect opportunity for learning about and enjoying Arkansas' natural resources. Nearly 5,000 acres of blackland prairie, forested hills, and two lakes create a mosaic of habitats that harbor almost 300 animal species, 450 species of plants (lots of wildflowers and butterflies each spring), plus geologic and archeological features.
Modern means of farming and ranching severly damaged the prairie, which is being restored under the management of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. This process is the centerpiece of the center's educational message. Grandview Prairie surrounds classrooms, a planned shooting range, lodging, a pond, and more, and features a staff of qualified environmental educators.
The first cache holds a clue to the second cache. Take in the splendor of Grandview Prairie's 4,885 acres on your way to the second cache.
