For part of this project I had to a topic about equalogical succession. The topic I choose is the deer culling in my town. A deer culling is when the population of the deer has become to much for the ecosystem to handle. Proferssional deer hunters come and euthinize the deer to limit the population. If we were not to have the deer culling our whole forest area would be wipped out. Also if we didnt have the deer culling all the native plants/animals would be gone and thee envasive plants/animals would take over. The deer culling is held in the Hilltop Reservation which is an old Essex County hospital center. The county has been successful in reducing the deer population to a mangable level.

This geocache is avaialble at all times but I recommend the day time.The geocache has seasonal access. There is food and fuel nearby and parking is avaaible on the side of the road.
