Geocache Description:

An easy find on a gun at the local RSL.

Update 2 April 2010
Cache is now a nano hidden on the gun.

I was visiting The Gurney VC Club, home of the East Victoria Park and Vietnam Veterans Sub-Branch of the RSL (and various other organizations) and found this excellent Quick Firing 25 Pounder Field Gun.

I had hunted down RSL War Artefacts/Memorabilia by MADSTARS three weeks earlier. MADSTARS offers extra points for his cache if the finder also places a cache on the War Artefact, but I didn't place one at the time because I was concerned that the trap in Bullet Train by Bear_Left was set to be sprung using the Field Gun. I subsequently checked with both Bear_Left and theUMP (who conveniently are one and the same) and confirmed that I could indeed place a cache here so I hid a magnetic key container containing only a logbook somewhere in the gun. You will need to bring your own writing implement.

This cache is the second in a new series leading towards a Bonus Box to be placed in the future. You will find a BB number in the back of the log book. Oops, I forgot to write the number 4 in the log book. You will need to record this number in the format 71? (from WanAus 71 and ? for the BB number) for future reference.

Congratulations to AlliedOz on their First To Find.
