Why would you put one (or three... like GCYX46, GCQ02R or GCRKRB) caches at a bridge in Scarborough?

Here's a cache at a real man's bridge... in Pickering! Please bring your own pen as one is not supplied at the cache.

Please Note: The cache is well camoflaged but within safe, easy reach of anyone standing with two feet on the ground.

Please do not park on the bridge in order to attempt to retreive this cache as it may take some time to find the cache and people are doing highway speeds on this stretch of road. Safe parking for the cache can be found less than 300m from the cache.

Having looked for this one twice before, once in the middle of winter and a second attempt a few weeks ago, I was glad to join in the hunt again with such a large group. No wonder I didn't find it before. I was not even on the right side of the bridge the last two times. Doh.

Anyway I can put the smiley on the grid and move on to the next challenge Thanks for the cache

After a long hike in the dark with the Moon Mob, we just couldn't go home without just one more cache. We tried this one before in the daylight with no luck -- now back in the dark with the Mob and Voila! We had a great time caching along the trail tonight. TFTC.

Attended the GC1ZWH0 Moon When the Nose of the Buffalo Calf Turns Brown event, and did some caching along the way.

After I had been out on another section of the trail with entogeek a month ago, I decided to look for some caches on my way home. This one popped up as being the closest, so I decided to look for it without having read any of the logs. I will offer a piece of advice to other cachers which I don't think will count as a spoiler: the title is there for a reason! Thank goodness traffic was sparse as I did my searching, and that the police had other places to be that evening . . .

Looking for the cache from a better perspective this evening proved to be a much more sensible approach. TFTC

Attending the Moon When the Nose of the Buffalo Calf Turns Brown Event for Skyecat's 1000th find when we found this one. On way back to the parking lot we made a detour and for those of us that hadn't found this one yet we headed for it. Made the find, nice hiding spot. SL, TFTC
