Geocache Description:

Go to Big Bear Lake (Zip 92315) take BIG BEAR BLVD (HWY 18) Turn Right at MOONRIDGE RD (Set of Lights) Follow MOONRIDGE RD a short distance turn right on Elm St go to the end of this road and turn right on Switzerland Dr then take the first left (marked USMC Rec Facility drive about 30 yards past the first corner and park. The cache is hidden on the left side of the road in the National Forrest.

This is our first cache hidden so we have made it an easy one, great for the kids. We visited our cabin at Big Bear Lake CA and after a terrific storm on Saturday 04/07/01 we decided to hide a cache on Sunday under beautiful blue skies.This cache is hidden in a National Forrest about a 15 to 20 minute walk of a road, walk time may vary as we hid it when there was about a foot of snow. The cache is in a paint tin, the tin is very full, with great party stuff, camera, brass key holder, Headphones, flash light and a heap more stuff. This is our first cache hidden so we have made it an easy one, great for the kids.
