Geocache Description:

The ninth of a trail of ten caches around this interesting area.
See Miners' Trail 10 -The Final (GC1D7AE) for instruction.
The coordinates above are false - the real coordinates can be found in Miners' Trail 8 (GCPDFT).

Near here is Mossy Moor dam which provided water to the working floors via a system of "hushes" - channels down the hillside. Many birds such as gulls, lapwing, curlew, redshank and snipe use this water - in the breeding season it's like a scene from Hitchcock's "The Birds" as they wheel overhead trying to discourage visitors.

This cache contains the eighth part of the coordinates for Miners' Trail 10 - the Final.
