This cache is located approx. 17 miles out of Leavenworth. To reach it take Eagle Creek Road all the way to the end of the pavement and then take a left. Follow for ten miles on dirt road. Most cars should be able to reach the summit if they drive reasonably and SUV would be preferred.
At the end of the road you will find a very cool fire look out that is staffed Spring Summer and Fall. You can visist the lookout between 9am-6pm. The view from here is out of this world. Great stands of dead pines line the road as you approach the summit.The cache is about 100 yrds past the visitor parking area. On the left as you go up. The container is now a large ammo can *8.19.11. Wasn't super ready to place a cache so I didn't have much to put into it. This place sure needed a cache though.
