What a Pool View Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

mda_taz: I discovered that this one has been destroyed again. There are some new picnic table here and more traffic makes it harder to keep this one hidden. This has gone missing about four times. Thanks to everyone who found this one.

Geocache Description:

This is in full view of the swimming pool, so be mindful of people watching. You might want to go smimming after finding all the caches in the park. **Most people bring a pen or pencil with them while caching, but this is a reminder to BRING A PEN to log your visit. This is a 3" round tupperware container.

I want as many cachers as possible to find my cache.

I hope you take advantage of walking down the trails. There are other caches in the park to make your walk fun. One of many caches in the brand new East Metropolitan Park, the easternmost park of the Travis County Parks system. This park is located near our home and is our recreational facility. It has only been open since June 3, 2006. There are 273 acres marked off for this park but only one phase is currently open for hiking and other activities -- PLEASE respect the signage in the park restricting access. The park is being built in three phases and only the middle phase is officially open. Phase 2 is planned to open at the end of 2006 and the phase with the baseball fields should open in the spring of 2007.

Open 7 days a week, the park hours are:

May 1 - Sept. 15, 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Sept. 16- Oct. 31, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Nov. 1 - Feb. 28, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Mar. 1 - Apr. 30, 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM
