This cache has been archived.

West Texas Reviewer: Cache Owner (CO) has not responded, so the cache is being archived to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking new cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace this cache sometime in the future (not to exceed 10 days from the date of this entry), just contact me (by e-mail), and assuming it still meets the current Guidelines, I will consider unarchiving this cache.

Please be advised this is not a guarantee that this geocache will be unarchived. Many factors will go into my decision. The most important of which is how you responded to geocachers who tried to communicate with you regarding the problem(s) with this geocache hide and how you communicated with me, the West Texas Reviewer.

Geocache Description:

The container is a small decon container. It can be found as a geocache using the coordinates above -OR- as a letterbox using the description below. On the inside cover of the logbook is some information that will be needed to find a large bonus hybrid - coming soon! For this series of letterbox hybrids, park at the west end of the Villiage Creek Linear Park on Findlay Drive in Arlington, TX and head North on the walking trail. (Terrain rating is mainly for distance.)

Well, summer is in full swing now! Aside from the PI, heat, thorns, and extensive muggle activity - we also get to enjoy those bugs! Yes! Your favorite part of geocaching has finally been featured in a series of caches. Go running to this cache to see what bugs used to haunt my nightmares as a child. (Why? I am not sure.)

Now for the directions/clues/hints: Keep walking North past the fountain - keep going to the power poles about 500 feet past the fountain. Look to the west and you will see two small groups of trees in the middle of the field. Go down to the Northern-most grouping. From there go to the tree that is 170' NE of this group. It is in the on the west side of the little opening in the treeline in front of you. The container is just hanging around!

Please - no trade items except travel bugs and georges. Please bring a stamp, a pad, and a pen to make your log!
